What is the difference between IR controller and RF controller?

There are two types of controllers, one is an IR controller and the other is an RF controller.

What is IR controller?

IR controllers use infrared light, which can only transmit over short distances, typically around 3 to 5 m (9.8 to 15.8 ft).

What is RF controller?

RF controllers use radio waves.

RF controllers can operate over a much longer distance compared to IR controller, often extending up to 15 to 20 m (49.2 to 65.6 ft).
